Description

• Snap-on® sockets using the Flank Drive® system grip the fastener on the flanks/flats delivering 15–25% more turning power

• Impact sockets are heat-treated to a low hardness range compared to chrome sockets so that under heavy, continuous use, the impact socket will withstand the impact blows and wear rather than break

• The broach depth of our impact sockets will start to thread the nut onto the stud most other sockets have a deeper hex where the user needs to start the nut by hand

• Use with IM182P steel locking pin and IM182R rubber locking ring or use with IMR2 socket retainer
